Hiking the Eastern Most Trail

This is the lighthouse where the hike starts.  West Quoddy Lighthouse

Walking through the trails was beautiful and so peaceful.  There was spongy moss lining the trail
with ferns and flowers mixed in.

The trail moved up and down the shore line and to help with erosion they placed logs  along the  walkway.

At the top of the hill I came upon this beautiful view.  On top of these rock previous hikers had balanced rocks in different configurations.  To view all of these little granite stacks made for a very Zen moment.

Here Sam is contemplating the climb up.  We were around 75 steps by now.

Another view from the top.  I am grateful for being able to hike this trail.
