The View to Canada....

Our location has changed as we moved East from Bar Harbor Maine to Lubec Maine. Which if you're a local is called "Down East".   Not much going on in Lubec Maine but that's okay we like it that way.  We have landed as far east as one can go and still be in the US.  The campground we are in sits about 3 or 4 miles from the Canadian border, so we'll be taking some trips there.

Since the last post we explored around the Bar Harbor area some more and went for a few day trips to see the sights.  We met some great people at the campground we were in and spent some evenings hanging out with them.   All in all a nice place to be.  But all good things must come to an end.

Our phone service is iffy right now since we are so close to Canada we are picking up Canadian towers mostly.  But there are a few spots, standing with foil on my head and my arm in the air,  I can get AT&T.  But I look completely ridiculous like the other campers walking around trying to find the signal also.   Don't want those roaming charges so the phones are being shut off mostly.

The following pictures are from my phone out the front window.  I found a signal for a second.  Better pictures will be coming once we get kicked into gear and get the cameras set up.   We'll be here a little over 2 weeks since Tom and I got a chance to go out to another island and view Puffins from a blind.  If you haven't had your fill of these little guys you will by the time we post more pictures of them.  We go out July 23rd.  We've been on a waiting list for 3 weeks and they called yesterday.  This is very cool because not many people get to do this.

This is the view out our front window of the coach  Bay of Fundy
The tide is moving out now.
